Boudreau, Agor, Nicewicz Take Down Whip City Checkers Whip City Speedway
An exciting night of racing action with prime track conditions saw Brian Boudreau, John Agor and Ryan Nicewicz take down feature wins in their respective divisions.
In the 250cc Youth Sprints class, Brian Boudreau started from the outside pole in his Capone's Pool Water/Lecca Enterprises #84 RTS machine. Boudreau would go on to dominate and lead every lap of the fifteen lap feature event has the consistent young gun crossed the line first over Joe Gaudiosi who had his most impressive run for second, Matt Gallo, Michael King, Brian Hurd, William Wall and Justin Phillips.
In the 270 cc action Wrentham's John Agor in his own B.A. Chassis stormed from the sixth position to second behind Lex Burritt on lap one. Agor quickly moved into the lead on lap two and began to distance himself from then second place runner Rich Shepard in the Camosse Enterprises #62. Agor would go on to take down the victory over Rich Shepard, Brooks Bennett, Lex Burritt, Sam Christie, Richard Crooker, Brandon Igo, Brayden Winters, Mark Irving, Aaron Wall, Michael Barrett, Bryan Russo, Glen Clark, Matt Gallo, Joseph Welch, Ryan Bigelow, Phillip Bessette, Michael Chmura and Wade Mattesen.
In the 600 cc action Jody Tripp came from the fourth position to take the lead away from Ricci Hirth on lap seven. Tripp began to stretch out his lead, as Mark Irving in the Irving Excavating/UniSource machine moved into second on lap ten after Carl Sherman went out with engine troubles. Tripp would go on to take down an impressive victory over Irving, Ricci Hirth, Jay Coppo, David Bodio, Chad Gaudiosi, Greg Smith, Mitch Griswold, David Morgan, Michael Prentice, Carl Sherman, Frank Russo, Arthur Marrero, Jim DeCambra, Mike Catino Jr, Jack Arute.
In the 750 cc main, Marc Guerard had perhaps one of the best runs of the year in any division, as he came from the last row in the field to win the main event. Guerard moved into sixth, from last on lap eight, and by lap ten was up to third. He used the low side of the racing surface to move into second on lap twelve and was leading by lap fourteen. Guerard went on to take down the feature win and was followed by Anthony Montesi, Jack Walts, Jon Moore, Jon Walts, Rick Gemme, John Lieto, Jamie Beaudry, Donald Masciadrelli, Mindy Neron, Bubba Broderick, Matt McLeod, Josh Walts, Tom Richard, Jason Wood, Chet Hinkle, Terri Lemelin, R.J. Tufano, Paul Bigelow and Josh Webb.
In the Modified Lites, Flyin Ryan Nicewicz used a fifth place starting position to his advantage, as he quickly moved into the lead on lap three. Nicewicz stormed away from the field and would go on to take down the win over Ryan Charland, John Durst, Christopher Travinski, Joseh Anselmo, Mark Lataille, Stephen Travinski, Brett Crowther, Scott Viets, Rick Mathison, Robert Charland, Brian Peterson, Timothy Johnson, Peter Sorrentino, Roy Bacon III, Roy Bacon, Matt Bernier, Ralph Cook, Eric Bacon, Ray Charland, Douglas Meyer, Alan Provost, Thomas O'Malley, Sean O'Brien.
In the 1200 cc division, Dennis Lamke started on the outside pole and led every lap of the feature. Paul Corazzo Jr. perhaps had the most impressive run, charging from deep in the pack to finish second, but ran out of laps chasing Lamke. Lamke would take down the win followed by Paul Corazzo Jr, John Lieto, Ed Baillargeon, Paul Corazzo Sr, Glenn Pressel, Robert Dance, super modified standout John McKennedy, Jack Arute, Ken Hinckley, Matthew Pravia, Mark Dupuis, Kevin Dumigan.
In the 750 cc Sportsman division, Kyle Spencer took down the win over Arthur LeBlanc, Jack Arute, Mike Fogarty, Bob Korner, Jack Fogarty, Rob Girard, David Kokindo, John Cole, Mike McKennedy. In the Quad 4 portion, Ron Bunn bested Kelly Ferrell and Tad Uzzle.
