WSTM NBC 3/Cingular Wireless Night This Saturday at Oswego Speedway : Raceway Media

The mighty Supermodifieds will roar into Oswego Speedway this Saturday along with the Limited Supermodifieds and Super Stocks for WSTM NBC 3 /Cingular Wireless Night! Pit gates will open at 3pm, grandstand gates will open at 4pm. The first preliminary event for this Saturday is scheduled for 6pm.

Four current top-five runners in Oswego Speedway Coca-Cola Supermodified Point Standings, including Greg Furlong, Jeff Holbrook, Jerry Curran, and Bob Magner, are all expected to compete for the checkered flag this weekend. Furlong sits sixteenth in all-time Supermodified wins with 15, while Magner and Curran will be fighting to put their name on the prestigious list. Holbrook has two checkereds under his belt, including a June 28 victory last season.

Kris Meyn dominated last weekend's Limited Supermodified division, taking wins in both his heat and feature. Meyn has won two consecutive Limited Supermodified "points" events including last season's August 28 show. He will be trying to continue that streak this Saturday on WSTM NBC 3 / Cingular Wireless Night. Other Limited Supermodified drivers hoping to park their machines in victory lane this Saturday include Chris Proud, Lou LeVea, Kevin Knopp, and Gregg Davis.

Joe Miller left his mark in the Super Stock record books last Saturday, tying his brother Kelly in all-time Super Stock wins. Both brothers top the list, each with eight victories. Joe Miller used the outside lane to take one of the most exciting Super Stock events ever at the Oswego Speedway. Watch him attempt to take a stand-alone lead in all-time wins this Saturday at the "Steel Palace". Other Super Stock front-runners expected in action this weekend include Dwayne LeMay, Bruce Stanton, Carl Crawford, and Dave Fetterly.
