Loudon, NH -- Mike Gallo of Sanford, Maine won his first career Bud Pole Award in qualifying for Saturdays New Hampshire 125 NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch North Series race at New Hampshire International Speedway. The 125.211 mile per hour speed registered by Gallos Ford was slower than the track record, but good enough to edge Paul Wolfes Dodge for the premier starting position.
Track record holder Brian Hoar and Mike Johnson will share the second row. Series point leader Andy Santerre qualified ninth and July NHIS race winner Martin Truex Jr. 11th in the 40-car field.
